Plans and Billing
Each workspace has its own plan. The plan sets how much you track, how often and how many people can join.

Owners and admins manage billing in Settings, then Billing. It shows your current plan, your usage this month and the billing email.
Free Trial#
Starter and Growth come with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it. You're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
Each person, workspace and billing email can use one free trial. If you already used yours, the plan starts billing on the day you choose it.

Add a billing email
In Billing Email, enter the address for invoices and receipts, then select Save Billing Email. You need it before you start a trial or buy a plan.

Under Plans, choose Monthly or Annual.

Choose a plan
Select Start 7-Day Free Trial or Upgrade to Starter, Upgrade to Growth or Upgrade to Agency. Complete checkout with your card.
The new limits apply as soon as checkout completes.
Change or Cancel Your Plan#
Once you have a paid plan, the plan cards show Switch to buttons, and the Free card shows Cancel Plan. Manage Billing opens the billing portal, where you can:
- Switch plans, or switch between monthly and annual billing.
- Update your payment method, billing address or tax ID.
- View and download invoices.
- Cancel your plan.
When you switch plans, your next invoice adjusts for the time left on your current plan.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. The Billing page shows the date access ends. Your workspace then moves to the Free plan.
If a payment fails, your plan stays active while you update your payment method. Update it soon to keep access.
Usage This Month#
Usage This Month shows:
- Questions Tracked: active questions out of your plan limit.
- Answers This Month: answers collected across every engine and location.
- Page Audits and Fix Drafts: how many you used this month.
Usage counts from the first day of the month, UTC.
What Happens at a Limit#
TDC Signal never deletes your data when you reach a limit or move to a smaller plan. Instead:
- Questions: you can't add or resume questions. Each check asks only your oldest questions, up to your plan's limit. Pause questions to choose which ones count.
- Engines: each check asks only the engines your plan includes.
- Locations: each check covers only as many locations as your plan allows. Remove locations in Tracking settings to choose which ones stay.
- Check frequency: scheduled checks follow a frequency your plan allows. On Free, that's weekly.
- Team members: current members stay. You can't invite more people.
- Fix drafts and page audits: you can't start more until the next month or until you upgrade.
